These are just words produced by the PR department at Bayer (in my opinion)..."“Our ambition is to create a sustainable future for agriculture that will benefit our customers, as well as society..." I would be interested in knowing how Bayer defines "sustainable future" for agriculture. Also interesting to note, benefiting society clearly comes after benefiting customers (corporate-speak for stock holders)... Sorry for spewing my cynical litter in your comments section - I just don't trust corporate motives - sort of like Nestle claiming they are interested in sustainability, the environment and the health of actual customers!

I like to believe that the people within all these big companies really do have the awareness and ethics to want to do good in the world, but profit agendas sometimes make that mission so murky.

Has "sustainability" become a buzzword???? It sure seems that side of table's idea of sustainable and what is actually susstainable are extremely different...
